It took years: 7 years to be exact, a long-delayed report on British involvement in the Iraq war called the Chilcot Inquiry: And finally the findings were released, and just like the Iraq war controversy, the report findings itself have been just as controversial. John Chilcot has concluded amongst other findings, that options to resolve the problem peacefully were not exhausted. But it failed to put pressure on then UK Prime Minister Tony Blair who deliberately exaggerated evidence on Iraq's military capabilities and misled parliament.
